I have to laugh at myself. On Saturday night, the Pistons game was broadcast on TNT, which we don't get, and Jay was upset that he had to miss it. So, he suddenly suggested that we go see Iron Man in the theatre next to our house. This is very unusual. Usually I'm the one that wants to spend money and Jay is the responsible one saying, "but just think of what else we could buy with that money." And so I think about it, and I usually agree with him. But, because it was Jay suggesting we spend money this time, and because I'm not the kind to say "but just think of what else, etc.", we went to the movie.
Iron Man was totally awesome. I loved it, and I would probably buy it. And I'm really excited that they're coming out with a second one. I hate to say it, but I liked it better than Spider Man. Not Batman, though. That's still cooler.
Anyway, that's not the point. The point is, that when I got out of the movie (which I forgot started at 7:15), it was dark, and there were a bunch of teenagers hanging around outside, and I was really tired, and it felt really late. So I turned to Jay and said, "I don't stay up this late for just anyone, you know?" He looked at me with a totally amused face, looked at the clock and said, "What, 9:30?" Until then I had really thought it was like midnight, and when I realized it was 9:30, I felt both really old, and really pregnant at the same time. What is life coming to? I can barely stay up til 9:30?? So all I could do was laugh. And then go to bed. :) C'est la vie.

How funny. It still makes me smile to think about it. It makes the $16.00 we spent to go to the movie totally worth it. We just don't get experiences like these when we rent a movie and watch it at home.
As far as your side note is concerned I think you have to differentiate between the different Spiderman movies. Hands down it was better than Spiderman 3 but it is a hard sell to say it is better that Spiderman 1. It is at least a tie.
Spiderman has webby things and Iron Man has iron. Iron beats webby things. Enough said.
Hello Jay and Kimberly!! Kimberly, I don't know you, but I know Jay very well as he was my husband Jared's roommate when we were dating. It's so fun you guys have a blog. These things are the best!! It's fun to see what's going on in your lives. Congrats on the baby! I'm so excited for you! It's the best thing in the world :) (Well, the baby part, not the pregnancy part...that I could've done without) I'd love to hear how things are going for you both! Jared is actually going to be out in Sterling Heights for work in a couple of weeks. He says he'd love to come visit you guys if you'd be up for it! Hope all is well :) Oh, our blog is http://themusickfamily.blogspot.com if you're interested :) Adios!
Don't worry you'll have plenty of late nights, like 10PM, 1AM, and 4AM feedings and that's if your lucky.
